Peter Brett (PBA) | Filton Airfield, Bristol We first helped secure planning consent for Bovis Homes Ltd at Filton Airfield, now known as Charlton Hayes, 15 years ago. Back then, that comprised 2,200 dwellings and 14 hectares of commercial land. This also included the design and delivery of the Hayes Way Link Road, which was supported by funding we secured through the South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWRDA). The Charlton Hayes development scheme is ongoing, and we continue to support the phased delivery of housing on the site. Most recently, we helped secure permission for 2,675 dwellings and 24 hectares of mixed employment and supporting community infrastructure on the wider airfield site for BAE Systems, a defence, security, and aerospace company.
