Fair Isle Bird Observatory
When it came to replacing the Fair Isle Bird Observatory a major consideration was getting the materials to the site – on an island some 150 miles from the north coast of mainland Scotland. The Eco-friendly structure consisted of 30 high performance, closed panel engineered timber modules built using JJI-Joists.
