Case History An operator drilling an appraisal well offshore Angola wanted to ensure that the 9 5 /8-in. casing was successfully set at depth in a near vertical hole. Working with the operator, Baker Hughes used a 12-in. EZReam ™ shoe system to run the 9 5 /8-in. casing to the setting point depth of 3,481 ft (1061 m).
