Project Description A large scale thermal remediation project of 103,000 tonnes of hydrocarbon- contaminated soil during the winter of 2013. This project used Nelson’s mobile soil remediation units to perform on site, ex situ cleaning of the soil that had been contaminated from drill mud pits. The thermal desorption method results in a final destructive removal efficiency rating of over 99.99%.
