BACKGROUND Led by the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company Renewable Energy Systems (RES), solar trackers developed by Array Technologies were installed at the Lamesa Solar Facility in Lamesa, Texas – equidistant from Lubbock and Midland. Array’s flagship single-axis tracker, the DuraTrack ® HZ v3, was selected as the tracking product of choice to allow for maximum harvesting of clean, renewable solar energy at the 102 MW (ac) / 131 MW (dc) PV plant.
