Light Box, also known as The Happiness Project, is the brainchild of artists Lucy Barfoot and Lucy Duggan and was born out of a discussion about what it takes to be strong and happy. Working with Willis Newson to evaluate their work and to develop their evaluation skills and knowledge gave the Light Box team a new appreciation of what evidence means and what evaluation can achieve. It also resulted in the development of a robust internal evaluation framework, generating evidence of the impact of their project on participants and learning for future project delivery.
