Enterprise GIS Implementation NJTA Since 2005, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority embarked on the development of a geographic information system supporting infrastructure and facility management. Several approaches were retained to develop the system, but there was no cohesive implementation plan to guide the efforts. In 2013, HNTB’s scope as general consultant to the Authority was expanded to include the development and implementation of an Enterprise GIS Strategic Plan. HNTB’s enterprise approach has brought much success with authoritative data, processes and resources, providing positive results and significant return on investment.
