Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) aimed to become a leading digital university but faced challenges managing over 2,000 PCs with just 10 IT staff. Collaborating with Intel, MFU deployed Intel vPro® platform-enabled PCs featuring Intel® AMT and Intel® EMA, enabling remote management regardless of power state or OS status. This transformation drastically reduced desk-side visits, minimized downtime, and improved IT efficiency. Tasks like remotely powering on labs and troubleshooting BIOS issues became seamless. The successful deployment helped MFU enhance IT operations cost-effectively, prompting plans for further expansion of vPro® systems across the university.
