Vertas, one of the UK’s largest integrated facilities management companies, partnered with Trakm8 to boost fleet efficiency and sustainability. Using Trakm8’s Connect 330 telematics across 298 vehicles and soon upgrading to RH600 4G camera systems, Vertas monitors driver behaviour, optimises fuel use, and cuts emissions. The fleet includes 41 fully electric pool cars with Suffolk County Council, eliminating 56.35 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Since early 2023, these measures have delivered £318K in savings, including reduced fuel, maintenance, accident, and insurance costs, achieving a 185% ROI. The partnership supports Vertas’ goal of net-zero by 2030.
