PROJECT PROFILE Energy Sciences Building Building Enclosure Commissioning | Argonne, IL CLIENT KJWW / Argonne National Laboratory BACKGROUND The Energy Sciences Building (ESB) is located on the campus of the Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) and primarily functions as a laboratory building for energy research. ESB is a four-story plus penthouse, 150,000 square-foot building. The exterior facade of the building is a rainscreen design that features various types of composite metal panel cladding, metal panel cladding, aluminum-framed curtain walls, sloped glazing, and louvers.
