AB InBev’s brewery in Leuven, Belgium, one of the largest in Europe, produces up to 60,000 containers of beer per hour. As part of its "Brewery of the Future" initiative, AB InBev deployed Spot, a robotic dog from Boston Dynamics, in 2023 for thermal and acoustic inspections of its packaging lines to achieve net-zero operations by 2028. Spot has exceeded expectations by detecting over double the expected anomalies, enabling quicker repairs and energy savings. With a one-year payback period, Spot's deployment has significantly reduced average repair times from months to thirteen days.
