Electronic Power Design (EPD), a manufacturer of switchboards and electrical systems, previously relied on a separate facility in China to produce specialized parts. When that plant closed due to market conditions, the company used the opportunity to find an ERP system better suited to its Houston operations. After evaluating solutions of various sizes and capabilities, Senior Manager Mark Bishop selected Global Shop Solutions. EPD went live in early 2021, choosing the software for its simpler, more efficient structure compared to their previous ERP system.
