The Government of State of Qatar through the New Doha International Airport Steering Committee is currently constructing a New International Airport for the capital city of Doha, Qatar. During the reclamation and upgrading of the new area for the new airport, solid waste and construction debris buried since 1997 were found in the area. This required the removal of the buried waste and dumping the waste in a new constructed engineered land
