The Challenge To design a multipurpose arena that can host events ranging from major concerts to rodeos while also promoting the cowboy culture for which the city of Fort Worth is known. The Design Solution When it opens in November 2019, Dickies Arena will become the new home of the annual Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. We designed the new facility to have much of the same colonial look as its predecessor, which was built in 1936. The new arena will feature 40 founders suites with premium seating, and other levels of desirable seating include upscale club suites and Loge box seating.
