DHS Group & Kent State University THE CHALLENGE Kent State University (KSU) of Ohio was looking for a low cost way to motivate their employees to be healthier and more active. Their belief was that new fitness devices may be an easy way to keep track of an individuals’ activity electronically and use the data to make wellness decisions. They recruited nearly 900 KSU faculty and students to participate in a study to try to get people moving more. KSU chose DHS Groups’ HealthSpective Engage platform and Movband devices because of their low-cost device options and the ability to manage multiple users and administer challenges within the Engage software.
