Airbus Defence and Space partnered with RF SPIN to develop a high-performance, single-polarized antenna for compact range use. The antenna needed to operate in the 500–700 MHz band, offer over 12 dBi gain, and weigh no more than 35 kg. RF SPIN overcame major manufacturing and weight challenges through innovative design, lightweight construction, and a segmented approach to passivation. The final product weighed just 31 kg while exceeding all performance requirements. This success highlighted RF SPIN’s ability to deliver complex, precision-engineered solutions and strengthened their strategic collaboration with Airbus.
