H+R were instructed to revisit a site which they had previously investigated during the building’s last refurbishment in 2001. H+R undertook an investigation to determine the condition and extent of damage to the internal historic features of the 19 th century, Grade II* listed property in Central London. This entailed surveying all six areas over two oors in the front historic section of the building. The investigation was to be carried out in conjunction with the refurbishment works to the 20 th century rear section. An analysis of the construction as well as the condition was crucial to inform future maintenance recommendations.
