Decatur, GA The US Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Georgia was in need of additional space to expand their eye clinic. There was no more room inside the hospital for the expansion. Mod- ular Construction had been decided as the most expeditious way to expand the clinic. A Service disabled veteran contractor partnered with Modu- lar Genius and built the 2,880 sq ft modular addition. It was attached to the existing hospital. The modular building was constructed with non-combustible materials. The hospital walls were cut out for expansion so one could walk from the without obstruction. The construction of the modular build- ing and installation was complete in 120 days from award to occupancy.
