Grid-Tied Commercial System Cox Communications Solar Power Installation in Avondale, AZ This 75kW solar PV structure for Cox Communications is the first commercial grid-tied solar installation in the city of Avondale, AZ. The system provides clean, low-cost power for onsite business operations. The Cox Avondale installation is comprised of two systems and features a total of 276, 175kW PV panels. By integrating three elevated solar racking structures, the systems cover 57 parking spaces and offer a dual benefit: protection from the elements and additional space for future PV panel installations.
