The garden was supplied with power from both sides via existing buried cables, shown below in black. A wireless Base-Station (A) was installed in the garage to provide a dusk-to-dawn clock with 6 separate timers. Its 1Km range provided good wireless coverage over the entire 6-acre site. 11 Lighting Control Modules (B) were installed discretely around the garden, to control a wide variety of light sources and a 30ft (500Watt) pond fountain. The controllers shared a permanent live supply, which looped through each unit, shown below in red. This allowed lower-cost, 3-core cable to be used throughout while the wireless system provided individual control over each lighting circuit.
