The client contacted HTS INDUSTRIAL when it needed a commercial storage structure for a large project decommissioning a nuclear power plant. The client is a global specialist in the design, build and operation of infrastructure to generate and supply energy for businesses, homes and public sector. - Much more complex than simply disconnecting from the grid, the project needed extensive logistical planning which included a new storage and dispatch area that could meet the site’s strict health and safety criteria and remain in situ for 25 years. Although the commercial storage structure needed to be customised to the client and site requirements, it still needed to be demountable.
