Case Study CO2Sense invested £750,000 in GWE Biogas, the first anaerobic digestion plant in Yorkshire that generates electricity from food waste. The investment by CO2Sense meant that the plant could be completed in one phase. The plant takes in around 50,000 tonnes of food waste, and generates enough clean energy to power 3,200 homes.
