Marine Walk | Case Study Clugston were appointed by City of Sunderland to deliver the second phase of the redevelopment of Marine Walk following a competitive tender process. Working closely with the project team from The City of Sunderland Council, Clugston undertook extensive remodelling works to existing public realm areas in Seaburn and Roker which included the removal of existing finishes, earthworks, landscaping and creation of new walkways and paving features. The work also involved highway works including new kerbing, traffic calming and surfacing all carried out in accordance with NRSWA requirements and the redevelopment of a children’s play park including high quality play equipment.
