WATER Clough Suez, BEENYUP SULPHURIC ACID TANKS CLIENT: CLOUGH SUEZ / LOCATION: BEENYUP STAGE 2 YEAR: 2018 / SECTOR: WATER TANK FABRICATION TFG Austline were awarded the fabrication of supply of an 10,000 litre Sulphuric Acid Storage Tank to design and code API 650. SPECIALIZED CLIENT REQUESTS The tank was fabricated to the specs of 5mm and 16mm Grade 316 plate welded to full penetration, X-Ray standards with various sized 316 pipe and flanges. The tank fittings of nozzles, a manway and compensation plates where completed in the tank fabrication to the highest standards. TESTING The tank fabrication had many facets with passivation of welds with hydrofluoric /nitric acid with 10% RT on all butt welds by external testing
