CHLAPATY WELLNESS CENTER UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE Dubuque, Iowa The project consisted of the construction of a new 65,000 square foot multipurpose recreational facility, football field, bleachers and press box. The building is integral to the bleachers and includes 3 basketball courts, a running track, a weights and fitness area as well as an aerobics area, locker rooms, juice bar, commercial laundry area, and offices. The mechanical scope of work included a hybrid heat pump and rooftop system. The heat pumps provide cooling and heating for most of the year while the rooftop unit provides peak heating and cooling. The plumbing scope of work included fixtures, piping systems and accessories. In addition, the project included a complete fire sprinkler system.
