Chirnside Park shopping centre management embarked on the lighting upgrade to reduce their power cost as well as the high cost of replacing HID globes in the exisitng lighting. They also achieved a significant lift in light levels, creating a much brighter and safer environment for customers and staff. Tigerlight constructed a lighting plan to raise light levels to the required standard, without the need for adding extra poles, using 3 different sizes of the Tiger modular streetlight range. The resultant lighting installation raised the lux level and uniformity up to the required standard - P11a, P11b and P12 for the disabled parking areas. 48 x 400W metal halide streetlights and 25 x 1000W metal halide streetlights were replaced by the same number of fittings: 5 x 90W
