Case study: Children’s Hospice Becomes Accessible Haven The Project Early 2017 we began work with Julia’s House Children’s Hospice in Devizes – Wiltshire. Working closely with the Architect, a specialist in designing Children’s Hospices, we have achieved the ultimate patient transfer results whilst working within the limitations of adapting an existing building that could not be changed. This involved working with low ceilings and integrating the track below doors, using flush XY (H) Systems, fixing the height and horizontal adjustable washbasins and grab rails into non-structural walls. The Washbasins and Grab Rails that adjust vertically and horizontally really came into their own in small bathrooms. This equipment, designed in Denmark, was specially colour coded to help staff and
