RSK was contracted to provide call-off support for Venture Production plc during its exploration, construction and operation of offshore oil and gas fields in the North Sea. In 2001, Brovig Production Services drilled a horizontal appraisal/ development well into the Chestnut reservoir and performed a 120-day extended well test, with the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel Crystal Ocean connected to the subsea wellhead.
