A Stronger Toolset Needed The customer develops and manufactures chemicals, plastic resins, and end products that make everyday life safer, healthier, and easier. Its products are used in a wide variety of applications including food and electronics packaging, industrial materials, appliances, and a variety of consumer goods. The customer operates about 4,800 endpoints, primarily laptops and desktops. Before reaching out to Ziften, the customer had no information technology toolset to proactively manage its workstations. They relied on Splunk, Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and various other tools, but lacked continuous real-time visibility into what was happening on its systems.
