Peter Brett (PBA) | Charteris Land, University of Edinburgh Charteris Land is part of the large campus that was originally the Moray House School of Education which sits within the world heritage site. This project provided new accommodation to co-locate the School of Education’s art, music, science and technology departments under one roof including: new wood, metal and plastics workshops, biology, chemistry and physics laboratories, music rehearsal and performance spaces, a recording studio, computer laboratories and art studios as well as staff offices and student facilities. The existing building was refurbished on four levels and there was also a new extension to provide up-to-date classrooms with all the latest technology.
