Charleston Defense Fuel Supply Point | South Carolina, US The Defense Fuel Supply Point is a U.S. military bulk jet fuel storage facility in Hanahan, S.C., on the outskirts of Charleston. Challenge Fuel at the supply point must be safely received and distributed to ?ve Air Force, Army and Air National Guard bases in the region. Solution The Defense Logistics Agency Energy hired Louis Berger to manage and maintain the Defense Fuel Supply Point. Louis Berger oversees receipt of the fuel by truck, barges and ocean-going tanker ships. Fuel is issued via pipeline, rail car and truck.
