CASE STUDY: CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY MARYBELLE AND SEBASTIAN P. MUSCO CENTER FOR THE ARTS O n its opening day in March of 2016, the new Marybelle and Se- bastian P. Musco Center for the Arts landed itself on the map as one of the most breathtaking new performance facilities in the country. Nestled in the small city of Orange, California within Chapman Uni- versity, the expansive, 88,000 square-foot performance center will feature state-of-the-art facilities that will allow the school’s arts program to grow. For such a project, col- laboration was needed between many different parties - including, but not limit- ed to: architect Pfieffer Partners, acoustician Nagata Acoustics, theater consultant Theatre Proj- ects Consultants, theatre contrac- tor Pook Diemont and Ohl (PDO),
