Central California Dewatering and Treatment for Soil Excavation Challange A customer at a Super Fund Site in Central California needed support to dewater a pit dug in a neighborhood in order to remove contaminated soil. Hauling out the wet soil would have added higher shipping cost and additional hazards over the road. The discharge limits had to meet the local POTW regulatory permit for the on-site treatment to be cheaper than hauling off. Solution Envent quickly responded with unmanned automated treatment system. Sump pumps in custom containers were utilized with float switched to automatically turn on and off depending on the water level.
