Pacific Beacon About Project From 2008 through 2014, CEG worked to implement a multi-phased energy-and-water conservation project with Pacific Beacon, a public-private venture which provides high-quality housing for enlisted unaccompanied sailors at Naval Base San Diego. CEG identified energy and water conservation measures and provided engineering analysis, design/build solutions, financing solutions, and operations and maintenance support for the facility. Pacific Beacon consists of 941 dual-master suites in three 18-story high-rise buildings. In addition to the new Pacific Beacon buildings, the venture owns and operates Palmer Hall, a 258-unit, 12-story building.
