DHL Supply Chain has significantly advanced its warehouse automation through a long-term partnership with Locus Robotics, deploying thousands of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) to enhance operational efficiency. Since their collaboration began in 2017, DHL has expanded its fleet to over 5,000 LocusBots across multiple global warehouses and distribution centers, making it Locus Robotics’ largest customer worldwide. These AMRs assist with picking and inventory replenishment, doubling to tripling worker productivity while reducing labor costs and physical strain. The flexible, scalable robotic solutions enable DHL to adapt quickly to fluctuating volumes, seasonal surges, and labor challenges, particularly in e-commerce and industrial segments.
