Success Story Machines & Systems The Challenge Honghai Hangzhou Textile Co., Ltd. is a fully invested subsidiary of the Hongfeng Textile Group, located in Hangzhou, China. It has invested in a full Rieter semi-automated rotor system and produces   tons/year of Ne  and Ne  viscose yarn. The yarn is well-known and its demand is high. The yarn is sold in China to the Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong areas and is also exported to international markets (Brazil, Turkey etc.). In , Honghai faced a very high demand for viscose yarn. The already high performance of the cards C  with  to  kg sliver per hour was unable to meet the de- mand. Rieter recommended enhancing the card produc- tion with new technological parts. Important for the cus- tomer was keeping the quality level
