One of the City of Calgary’s 2016 urban construction projects is Thomson Family Park, on 1236 16th Ave SW. This park, designed by Ground Cubed and EXP Engineering, replaces a bowling green with a multi-pur- pose park aimed at the widest possible neighborhood demographics. Along 11th St SW is a broad sidewalk, interspersed with street trees. These trees will grow through beautiful tree grates and pavers, to provide shade and visual interest
