2 PagesCase Study #4 – Tallahassee, FL Scope of Work CalClean was contracted to conduct HVDPE events for a confidential client located in Tallahassee, FL. The subject site exhibited elevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater beneath the site. Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) approved HVDPE along with Air Sparging. Three 30-day HVDPE events have already been conducted to date, and four more events are scheduled along with Air Sparge events. Results The results of the three HVDPE events indicated an effective radius of influence of approximately 80 ft. A total of 18,000 pounds of hydrocarbons were extracted during the first three events.
