The subject site exhibited elevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater beneath the site, including contamination from oxygenated gasoline additives; Methyl-tert-butyl ether (MtBE) and tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME). Lithology The Site is underlain by alluvial materials consisting of inter-bedded layers of poorly graded fine to medium grained sand, sandy silt, silt, and clay to the total depth explored of 25 feet.
