CASE STUDY - GAS DETECTION SYSTEM INSTALLATION CHALLENGE An improvement notice issued by regulator for insuffi cient gas detection within the pump room. New gas detection equipment was required to beinstalled in several locations. New cables are run from the fi re gas panelto each fi eld device. Access to the equipment and full cable run wouldalso be a challenge as equipment is installed at height and not easilyaccessible from grade.
