Bridge Road Deck Renovation This Hydrodemolition Project project required the removal of 150mm depth of damaged concrete to approx 25mm below the last reinforcement bar, in preparation for the reconstruction of a new road surface. The powerful pump units, delivering pressure outputs ranging up to 36000 psi, accurately removed the defective parts of the concrete structure, cleaning the rebar whilst leaving it and the remaining sound concrete intact and ready for refurbishment. The Hydrodemolition process is more accurate than other methods, notably hydraulic power tools, because the process is vibration-free. The Ultra High Pressure Water jets can be applied with great accuracy and with little impact on surrounding areas and materials
