! ! Challenge Pacific had to construct and fit out to an extremely tight deadline a brand new super-trendy bar/diner for hipster beer company BrewDog at Edinburgh International Airport. The pressure was intense, as Pacific were aware that this to be was the first ever outlet opened by the company at a UK airport. The finished article had to have attitude and style in spades – as per BrewDog’s headline-attracting image – and it had to strike a strong presence in order to attract customers from its location in the centre of the airside concourse in the eastern extension Approach The deadline was tight, and operations had to be sympathetic to the operation of Scotland’s busiest airport, with frequent fluctuations in the movement of people across the airside area.
