Boreham Wood FC Case Study The football club desperately needed to replace its existing concrete standing terrace, which was heavily ridden with asbestos material, however revenue was limited to only spend money from its Football Foundation funding.The construction phase commenced in 2012 and GL events UK designed and delivered a solution that was within-budget and exceeding the club’s aesthetic requirements, while satisfying all of the necessary regulations. Works were procured under a JCT Design and Build Contract. The old stand was demolished and a new 900-capacity seated stand was created on piled foundations.
