Blackpool-based drinks machine manufacturer, Booth, has saved £118,400 by reducing its energy and water consumption and making its production processes more efficient, with ENWORKS support. Booth has been designing and manufacturing equipment for dispensing cold drinks since 1965. It has been supported for several years by ENWORKS funded advisers from Groundwork Pennine Lancashire. The improvements made so far have brought environmental savings of 46 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO 2 e) and 300 m 3 of water, which have generated cost savings of £27,600 per year.
