INTRODUCTION Dockwise was subcontracted by Hyundai Heavy Industries (“HHI”) for the transport and float-over installation of the PPS topside as part of the PTTEP Greater Bongkot South development in the Gulf of Thailand. Dockwise’s scope of work included project management, marine engineering, structural engineering, transport engineering, CAD engineering, installation, and procurement of equipment and secondary steel structures for the Black Marlin’s deck preparation for the load-out and float-over operation. In addition, Dockwise engineered and procured the offshore mooring system, which was installed and removed by a Dockwise contracted marine spread consisting of two AHTs and one assisting tug.
