Block Island is located 4.8km south-east of Block Island, Rhode Island, US Location In 2016, Brave Tern transported and installed 5 GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines off the coast of US. This is the first, and so far only, offshore wind farm in the US. Five GE nacelles were transported across the Atlantic on Brave Tern. US flagged feeder barges assisted by transporting the towers and blades from US shore to Brave Tern. The scope of work for Fred.
