£3.4m (offsite manufacture & installation) 120 bedrooms 34 weeks Bishop Grosseteste University This three storey student development comprising 90 modules, is based around clusters of six bedrooms sharing a communal lounge, dining and kitchen facilities. Delivered in two phases (24 modules and 66 modules) to ensure that the scheme had a minimal impact on daily university activities. When phase one was complete, students decanted to their new accommodation so that their old residential block could be demolished. Phase two units were installed, services linked to the initial phase and the complete building made ready for the increased number of students. The modules were constructed from a combination of hot rolled and cold rolled frames to provide a 2.4m structural ceiling height. F
