Apollo Solutions Group presented a comprehensive plan for the college to save significantly on energy costs, reduce maintenance costs and improve overall energy efficiency. Apollo assisted Big Bend with a $472,032 Energy Grant from the Washington State Dept. of Commerce. $64,000 in incentives utilized from a Grant County PUD provided campus-wide interior and exterior lighting upgrades, occupancy sensors installed in offices,classrooms, and work areas. Results of these changes will be improved learning environment, 16% reduction in annual energy costs, $27 ,000 first year total energy and operational savin
