Their initial site selection inflated site development costs, and therefore exceeded that budget. An alternate site was identified which resulted in a reduction of overall costs. As a result of the new site, additional state and local incentives were negotiated for Belden Wire and Cable. In the end, all the client’s goals were achieved— at 15% less than budgeted.
