® ABOUT NEW ORLEANS BABY CAKES The New Orleans Baby Cakes are a minor-league, Triple-A Affiliate of the Miami Marlins major league baseball team. Formerly known as the New Orleans Zephyrs, the team held a “name-the-team” contest in 2016, rebranding as the Baby Cakes moving forward. They currently play in their 10,000 seat stadium in Metairie, Louisiana known as the Shrine on Airline.
